8th July 2023 Hiking - Walking: Holywells Park, Ipswich Wind Direction: Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny start then cloudy but hot and airless:( Max Speed: Distance Covered: Saturday 8th July - walk *** Holywells Park, Ipswich - sunny start then cloudy but hot and muggy:(. We are going to see a house in Ipswich our son and partner are hoping to buy at 12.45 which left me free to do my exercises in the sunny back garden before I made a picnic. We then viewed a nice house before we all headed over to the lovely Holywells park, it had clouded over now but it was very hot and airless making it very uncomfortable:( We had our picnic by the small lake under a tree, Maeva loved it too:) We had ducks come over, a family of geese and ducks with a heron and egret on the lake which was sadly covered in duckweed, all the water in the park was covered in it making it look very neglected:( We then walked up to the stables and conservatory before doing a circuit of the park which was hard going in the heat but we saw loads of squirrels. We were pleased to be back at the car and head for home to get out of the heat! Photo Album here |
